Good value for money Good English breakfast which is rare in Gran Canaria. Nice service, food and atmosphere. Bit difficult to locate but well worth the visit

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem! A colleague recommended The English Bakery to me, and I’m so glad they did! It’s a proper hidden gem in Playa del Inglés. I ended up coming back a few times during my short stay because the food was just that good — amazing quality, cooked perfectly every time. The staff are super friendly, really attentive, and nothing is ever too much trouble. It’s also a really welcoming and inclusive space — everyone’s made to feel comfortable and at home, which makes such a difference. Each day I went a bit off-menu and combined a few dishes, and it was never an issue — they were more than happy to make it just how I wanted. The freshly squeezed orange juice was also a real treat, especially when most places only offer the carton stuff. Only about a 5-minute walk from the Yumbo, and honestly, the food here is miles better than anything I tried there. I’ll 100% be coming back and will be recommending this place to anyone visiting the area!

Gluten free heaven! What a delightful place. A little bit off the beaten track but the gluten free offerings were well worth it! When the palate calls for fish and chips and you find this little gem hidden away. This place is amazing, it really should be busier and have queues out the door! The fish and chips were wonderful and very reasonably priced too! And if you fancy a good old English brew then this is definitely the eatery of choice with Yorkshire tea in a good sized mug! The courtyard terrace is a lovely place to sit and enjoy your food. I really can’t find anything bad to say! Top marks for being gluten free friendly !

EXCELLENT FOOD AND A VERY WALM AND WELCOMING OWNER I found this place online before we left England, and due to the reviews we went out of our way to find it, So glad we did!!! We got a very warm welcome and as I'm a very fussy eater it was fingers crossed the reviews are correct, I had a breakfast and it was perfect and not swimming in fat ( as with other places ) my husband has a burger and he said its the best burger he's ever eaten, not frozen but home made, we would 100% recommend!!!

A hidden gem! Amazing food, wonderful host and staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and wouldn't hesitate to encourage others to try the menu. Thank you for a lovely lunch, stories in your tranquil surroundings.

Great little Cafe Great lunch, we both were boring and ordered chicken ceaser salad, BUT they were not boring at all, they were super fresh and large portions too, the server/owner we think was a nice guy, he was attentive without being overbearing and we some good banter with him, definitely recommend 😃

Lovely lunch Lovely Food, we had a burger and chips and pie, mash and mushy peas. Very tasty. Great service, very peaceful setting. Lots of choice. We will be back.

Homemade Food - Quaint Cafe - 10/10 This is a beautiful, quiet and quaint cafe run by two Mancunian lads (don’t hold it against them) - this is a lovely place with warm, homely and classic food. We came in at lunch and ordered chips with curry sauce / gravy and the homemade chips were divine! We then had the scones (which ate incidentally and accidentally vegan) with a cup of tea. Carlsberg don’t make scones, but if they did - it would be these! The service is hospitable, genuine and authentic and the food is amazing. We are planning to return for the vegan roast or the vegan pie and chips. They have an extensive menu with a number of delicious vegan options.
